Our team of merchandising specialists worked closely with Hernameis based in Cologne, Germany to create a retail space that combines functionality, aesthetics and customer experience.
Shop racks are key elements for organising clothes in a shop. They provide a clean and purified presentation that allows customers to easily view items. For Hernameis, we chose straight racks in white, harmonising with the brand’s visual identity. Their strategic placement in the shop guides customers through the different sections, creating a natural flow.
The hangers aren’t just racks for clothes; they’re an extension of the brand’s image.

The Customer Experience at the Heart of Layout
Our team worked hand-in-hand with Hernameis to design a layout that promotes the customer experience:
Logical Layout: We placed the portants and the wooden hangers so that customers could easily navigate between the different collections. The circulation areas are wide, avoiding any feeling of crowding.
Store lighting: Bright LED spots directed at the racks highlight the clothes and create a warm atmosphere. The lighting is adjusted to avoid annoying shadows.

Staging: We created themed sets by grouping matching items together. For example, a summer dress is presented with matching accessories and shoes. This inspires customers and facilitates cross-selling.
